July 31: With Attention and Intention, “It Gets Better”

Numerous suicides of gay teens and young adults have prompted the collective sense that the GBLT community is experienced a societal setback. The Laramie Project (screening of a movie depicting the events of Matthew Shepard’s death 13 years ago) has sparked a nationwide movement in hopeful response. We’ll celebrate the victories of this effort and take a look at the impact of a locally based movement, “It Gets Better.”
