New Quarters for Cedars Choir Practice

The Cedars choir is happy to announce new quarters for its Wednesday evening practices. Some time ago the Cedars Music Committee, chaired by Alan Miller, set out to find an alternative to the Katz Building, which was becoming too cramped for our burgeoning numbers. Members explored many options to no avail. Then Sheryl Hamm asked Pam Keyes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Bainbridge Island if they had any space to rent. But Pam said they don’t rent their facility to outside groups. No, they don’t rent, they offer their facilities to the community at no charge! She said to make arrangement through Ed Reider, which Sheryl and Chris quickly did. Now, with gratitude in our hearts, we are practicing in the spacious sanctuary of the LDS church.
