Using four short, provocative and helpful essays by the eminent UU articulator, Forrest Church, we will explore these aspects of being an intentional religious liberal in our time: Defining Our Faith; Matters of Life and Death; “Salvation” From “Sin”; and Born-Again UUism. This is a good opportunity for newcomers and longtime UUs alike to both deepen personal identity as a contemporary UU and build relationships together.
Four Thursday evening sessions: 7:15pm, on the first, third, fourth and fifth Thursdays: August 2, 16, 23, 30. Sessions led by Rev. Jaco ten Hove, co-minister, at the Katz Building. Individual sessions can stand alone, but also build on each other. Reading each essay ahead would be highly suggested. Essays will be provided at least a week in advance by Rev. Jaco via e-mail to registrants or by arrangement.
Please pre-register via our Brown Paper Tickets site ($10 for any combination of sessions).
