Washington UU Voices for Justice presents “8”

8Washington UU Voices for Justice presents a staged reading of “8,” the acclaimed play chronicling the historic trial in the federal constitutional challenge to California’s Proposition 8, which stripped gay and lesbian Californians of the fundamental freedom to marry.

“8,” by Dustin Lance Black, is based on actual words from trial transcripts, first-hand observations of the courtroom drama, and interviews with the plaintiffs and their families.  Following the performance, join marriage equality advocates for a Q&A about Washington’s Referendum 74.
