Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is the governing body of Cedars UU Church. It has general
charge of the property of the Church, conducts its business affairs, and
controls its administration, including the appointment of such Committees that
it deems necessary. The Board consists of a President, Vice President,
Secretary, and Treasurer, and three Members-at-Large. The co-ministers are
ex-officio members of the board.

Treasurer’s Report
Reviewed results of
recent fundraising activities, one for earthquake victims in Haiti
(specifically the Albert Schweitzer Hospital) and the other a challenge
matching grant for Cedars.
Stewardship Update
Discussed implications
of integrating the Future Shapers initiative and Budget Leadership Team with
the annual Stewardship campaign.
Denominational Affairs
Discussed the
opportunity for participation in the Unitarian Universalist Association via
a board-designated liaison whose role would be to bring to Cedars a greater
awareness of denomination-wide issues and initiatives.
