Mission of the Adult Programs Committee The mission of the Adult Programs Committee is to "nurture a learning spirit," which is a part of the Mission Statement of Cedars UU Church. That mission grows out of our 48-year history as a fellowship evolving into a church. That history has been marked by a wide variety of lay-organized adult discussion groups, study circles and forums. Those activities occurred for decades before we developed into a church with regular Sunday services. The remarkable and continuing growth of the Cedars congregation, especially in recent years, ensures that there is a diverse range of issues, concerns and interests. The Adult Programs Committee will focus on small group gatherings and workshops that will nurture our learning spirit and deepen our connections for the coming church year.
