A few concise and innovative statements dealing with religion in our national Constitution and Bill of Rights help counter the “Christian Nation” push toward theocracy that seems to rise anew each generation. We may need to be increasingly well versed in these formative, if vulnerable premises. This subject was chosen by Patti Shannon, who “won” the sermon topic at last January’s Fun(d)Fair.
