Immigrant Family Concerns

Northwest Unitarian Universalist Justice Network and Unitarian Universalist Voices for Justice Washington are firmly opposed to the separation of migrant parents and children from one another at our national borders.

The General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalist Association on June 24, 2018, passed an Action of Immediate Witness opposing separation of families and calling for the abolition of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) administration. We in the Unitarian Universalist community believe in the sanctity of human relations, the worth of every individual and worldwide communion of humanity. It is from these principles that we call for action.
