Elder’s Holiday Tea

Wednesday, December 5
2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Cedars Center Large Conference Room

It is important for us in Cedars to respect our Elders.  Who is an Elder?  We use the word more in the tribal sense than the way it is often used in Christian ecclesiology.  An Elder is someone who represents the history and heritage and memory of a community.  On December 5, 2018, we will hold an Elder Tea to honor our elders.  An elder may be someone who has been a member for more than 30 years, or any person who has lived on the earth for more than 75 years, or three generations.  Other members of the church are welcome to attend the tea, but space and teacups are limited.

For more information contact Julie Hill or Reverend Thomas.
