Stonewall Anniversary/ Pride Festival

Bainbridge Pride is organizing and hosting the premier panel in Puget Sound to mark the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising and a half-century of LGBTQ liberation. The event is free and will be held this Saturday at BIMA.
Officially, the event is Stonewall 2 Bainbridge–Five Decades of the Pride Experience. Panel members are Marsha Botzer, Founder Ingersoll Gender Center; Monisha Harrell, Chair Equal Rights Washington; Lonnie Lusardo, AIDS/HIV activist and Founder Out in Front Leadership Program; Kris Hermanns, Former ED of Pride Foundation and current Special Officer of the Seattle Foundation; and other activists.
Cedars always is involved in Pride activities. This year, Bainbridge Pride Festival is on June 23 at Waterfront Park.
