Kingston Prepares for Emergency

Wednesday, November 6, 7:00-8:30 p.m.
Village Green Community Center
26159 Dulay Road, Kingston WA

With help from noted speaker and author, Scott James, the Kingston community will gather next month to raise awareness and take crucial steps towards emergency preparedness. James, author of Prepared Neighborhoods: Creating Resilience One Street at a Time, will join local, county, and state agencies to share life-saving steps to prepare for disasters large and small, connect with neighbors, and share knowledge and resources.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. There will be door prizes and refreshments!

Chris Gilbreath, one of the coordinators of Kingston Prepares comments, I believe with a combined effort by local groups, organizations, and agencies, we can be much more prepared for emergency situations. A safe, secure, and successful community is the goal.
