Hôpital Albert Schweitzer (HAS), Haiti Compassion in Action

Sunday, Feb. 10

This worship service will be dedicated to Cedars ongoing commitment to the Hospital. It is time to renew our support for this amazingly effective and long-term agent of positive change in Haiti. We are excited to announce that we have a $3,000 matching grant to begin our HAS campaign. We must raise an equal amount or more to be able to use these funds. We can do this! This is our opportunity to walk our talk when it comes to so many of our UU principles.

This year we are privileged to once again have HAS board chair, John Walton, join us as part of our February 10th service.  John will help us learn about HAS’ Community Health Program, which is the specific program that Cedars will be working to help fund.  Every penny, every program is monitored for its effectiveness and the results are powerfully persuasive reasons why we can consider it an honor and privilege to be considered contributing  “Friends of HAS.”

You can find more information about HAS at  hashaiti.org

Please consider inviting friends and family to help Cedars in support of HAS.  HAS is dependent on the generosity of people like you.  This is your opportunity to put your compassion into action.
