The Cedars Gala set for Saturday, November 5 at the Island School will certainly be a special opportunity for you to help us raise funds for Cedars UU Church. In addition to a fine dinner and social gathering, there will be a special musical revue, produced by Chris Smellow which will feature guest musicians, our Cedars Choir, and some special people we all know. Also, more than three dozen Cedars members and friends have donated activities to a silent auction that will feature a huge variety of hosted events in the coming months. More details on all of these events will be available to you at the Gala when you sign up for activities to purchase seats. This list is not in its final form, as there will likely be additional items added to it before Saturday. Take a few minutes to review the many exciting things that will be available for purchase.
You won’t want to miss the Cedars Gala! The cost is $25 for the catered dinner, musical revue, wines and appetizers, the famous “Dessert Dash”, our raffle drawing for a cash prize, and a paddle call to assist Cedars operating fund in the future. Please join our emcees Tyler Weaver and Alex Sanso for an unforgettable fun evening! Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Childcare avaialble featuring pizza and a movie.
