The Bainbridge Island community will honor and celebrate the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. on Sunday afternoon with a special Zoom webinar and public march down Winslow Way from the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art to a rally at the Gazebo in Winslow Green. Gathering in the plaza in front of the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art at 1:45 p.m., celebrants will then honor the memory of Dr. King with a socially-distanced and masked march down Winslow Way to the Winslow Green. Featuring singing, drumming, and call-and-response chanting, the march will be an energetic prelude to the celebratory 2:30 p.m. rally on Winslow Green.
