Paying Attention: Finding Wisdom Through Springtime Interfaith Practices

At this time year Lent, Ramadan, and Passover fill the spring days with opportunites for contemplation, meditation, and even prayer. What can we learn from the great religions about paying attention and how to bring forth our emotional and spiritual growth into action for our communities and common humanity.

Reverend Margo Rinehart serves Cedars by welcoming people from diverse theological and religious backgrounds and spiritual beliefs on their journeys to learn from one another, search for truth, and answer the call of love and justice.

Nicholas “Nick” Colletto is a pianist, composer, and teacher who holds degrees in Piano Pedagogy and a Music Composition from Central Washington University. His performance highlights include appearances with the Isolation Big Band in the Tri-Cities and the Legion of Jazz Big Band at the Royal Room in Seattle. Nick’s musical interests reflect his eclectic inspirations, ranging from the virtuosity of Art Tatum and Sullivan Fortner to the creativity of Jimi Hendrix and Chick Corea.

Moira McGregor is a wonderful soprano singer who holds a Vocal Performance and Music Education degree from Central Washington University.
