Music Director Position Open in Kitsap County

Consider applying for the Music Director position at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Kitsap County, WA, known as Cedars UU Church.
We are a welcoming congregation that serves primarily Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap County. Our congregation deeply values music for its spiritual nourishment and enrichment.
We are looking for a Music Director who can engage people of all ages in music making and community building rooted in liberal religious values.
To apply, you should be a competent musician, have a Bachelor’s degree in music or relevant experience; at least two years of experience conducting a choir; and be able to engage musicians with a variety of skill levels. You should be able to plan, perform and lead music both for in-person and virtual church settings and have some proficiency in computers and online technologies, slide show and video production and use of YouTube. The position is part-time (14 hours per week/12 months per year) and reports directly to our church minister, Rev. Zackrie Vinczen. The salary is $20-$27 per hour, depending on experience.
It requires work on 40 Sundays/per year. The Church Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings, in person or on Zoom.
