The Cedars Pastoral Care Team cordially invites you to attend the Elders Tea as an honored elder, a long-term Cedars member, or a supporter of our Cedars elders.
Cedars members believe it is important to respect our Elders. Who is an Elder? We use the word in the tribal sense: an Elder is someone who represents the history, the heritage, and the memory of a community. On Friday, February 14, we will hold a Valentine’s Day Tea to honor our elders.
A Cedars elder may be someone who has been a Cedars member for more than 30 years, or any person who has lived on the earth for more than 65 years. Anyone who wants to meet and honor our Cedars elders also is welcome to attend this tea.
RSVP to Kathleen Stearns at office@cedarsuuchurch.org.
If you need a ride to the event, please contact Rick Freeman.
